XU4 is a remake of Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar, the classic computer game first released in 1985. This isn”t just another game inspired by the original. Instead, it’s a faithful recreation, and it is fully playable from beginning to end!

XU4 is a cross-platform application able to run on popular modern operating systems thanks to SDL; it’s available for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and more. The project is currently under development, and beta releases are available for download.
